About LukuCentrum

OÜ LUKUPOOD was founded in January 1996 in Tartu. Until April 1, 2006, we operated
at Pikk Street trade yard. On the same day, the company's new store was opened at
Narva mnt 27B, where the company's main store is still located.

Since August 1, 2006, Lukupood OÜ has been operating under the name LukuCentrum.
On the 10th anniversary of Lukupood OÜ, we decided in favor of a name that would better express our versatility, orientation to development and innovation and location in the
center of Tartu.

Our goal is to offer high-quality and reasonably priced lock products from the world's
best-known manufacturers to both retail and wholesale customers.  

During the period 14.05.2025 – 31.05.2026, OÜ Lukupood will carry out the company’s digital transformation project during which several new digital (incl. software) solutions will be developed and implemented and the company’s production processes will be modernized, with the aim of resolving bottlenecks identified in various processes thereof, which can be resolved through digitalisation and automation. As a result of the project, the company’s production capacity will increase and the added value created (including per employee) will grow due to the streamlining of the company’s various internal and external processes.

The project has been co-financed by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU recovery fund with a contribution in the sum of 328 043,80 euros (€).
